Our Very Own Dr. Yaroslav Yarmolyuk Was On Chicago’s Very Own WGN 9 This Past Friday!

During the WGN segment, Dr. Yaroslav Yarmolyuk was acquainted with Mike Toomey to talk about the importance of orthodontics and what Orthodontic Experts are all about. According to Dr. Yaroslav Yarmolyuk, “Beautiful smiles is one of the major benefits of orthodontic treatment, but there is so much more to it.” He explained on the segment that straight teeth are easier to clean, which reduces the risk of gum and bone disease. Also, there is a huge psychosocial benefit. Beautiful smiles do improve our self-confidence and self-esteem. This is extremely important for children and teenagers who are going through vital stages of psychosocial development, but also for adults who are going through different stages of life such as career advancement. Mike Toomey then mentioned to Dr. Yaroslav Yarmolyuk, “It looks like more adults these days are seeking orthodontic treatment.” Dr. Yaroslav Yarmolyuk replied, “Correct because we see a lot more adults getting orthodontic treatment these days. One of the main reasons is that we offer many new adult-friendly, cosmetic treatment options these days, such as clear teeth aligners, ceramic braces, and braces behind the teeth.” This makes orthodontic treatment much more favorable and easier for adults.
