Arlington Heights, IL – January 27th, 2023 – Orthodontic Experts a multi-clinic of orthodontic locations, always welcomes new members, whether it be our teammates, clinical staff and doctors, or even our patients. This time, we are ecstatic to announce our newest doctor, Dr. Kitt Stevens! Dr. Kitt Stevens is now a part of our wonderful Arlington Heights team. Dr. Kitt Stevens was born and raised in Highland Park, IL, making her a native to the Chicagoland area. However, when it came time for her undergraduate degree, she decided it was time for an adventure. Through a Navy ROTC scholarship, she was able to graduate from the University of Wisconsin with a degree in Chemistry. However, after this, she was then commissioned by the US Navy. Over the course of the next five years, she successfully completed two overseas deployments while simultaneously traveling the world. While aboard this ship, she ended up meeting her future husband, Matt. It was also during this period that she began to shadow another friend and Navy Dental Officer. This is where her love for teeth began to bloom, thus inspiring her to return to school.

Once finished with her deployments, she returned to her studies back in her native Illinois. She then received her DDS from the Dental School at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Following this, she completed two forms of specialty training, therefore earning her MA in Oral Services and an Orthodontic Certificate. With her new skill set and knowledge, she then joined the Illinois National Guard as a Dental Officer for the next six years. Today, Dr. Kitt Stevens can be found at our Arlington Heights clinic.
Dr. Kitt Stevens is a member of the American Academy of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Illinois State Dental Society, the Chicago Dental Society, and the Illinois Society of Orthodontists.
