COVID-19 Update From Orthodontic Experts

The entire Orthodontic Experts team wants to reassure the safety and well-being of our patients. We have implemented new safety measures for both our patients and staff to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Few Reminders Before Your Appointment:

  • All patients must wear a mask when coming into our clinic.
  • Please do not arrive more than 5 minutes prior to your apointment.
  • All patients' temperature will be measured.
  • Please use our dedicated texting service for your appointment.

Check-in via Text

To help stop the spread of the virus, all of our clinics are doing everything in our power to keep everyone safe during the pandemic. Social distancing is a new term that we all have to adjust to and practice on a daily basis. The number of people in our waiting room is limited. We would like to remind everyone to please use “Check-in via Text” when you arrive at the clinic’s parking lot.

How Our New Texting Line Works

  • When the patient arrives in our parking lot, they are to text the dedicated line to let our front desk know they are here.
  • Patient should not arrive more than 5 minutes prior to your appointment.
  • When we are ready for the patient, we will reply back via text.  

We ask that only the patient comes in for their appointment, everyone else should wait in the car. If the patient is a minor, a parent/ guardian can come in as well, but must wait in the waiting room and maintain social distancing guidelines. We are asking for your full cooperation.

Procedures During COVID-19

  • Our staff will be wiping down all clinical surfaces, cameras, keyboards, mouses, and anything else that has been touched, after each patient, with Cavicide or CaviWipes.
  • Our staff will be wiping down all waiting room areas including door handles, waiting room tables, glass, counter tops, water fountains, bathroom entries, tabletops with Lysol multi-surface cleaner, Cavicide or CaviWipes, every thirty minutes.
  • In addition to standard personal protective equipment (gloves, protective eyewear, and masks), our staff will be using face-shield, surgical gowns and caps.
  • Entrance door will constantly be open so you don't have to touch the door handle.
  • We will be keeping at least 6-foot distance when talking to another team member, patient, or parent.
  • Our staff will not shake hands with patients, parents, and other team members.
  • We will be removing all toys and magazines from the waiting rooms.
  • Our team will also be wiping down all iPads, SignPads, and Pens after each patient with Lysol wipes or CaviWipes.
  • Each staff member will be using hand sanitizer after each patient/ parent contact in a non- clinical area (TC Rooms and Waiting Rooms).
  • Every clinic will have an Air Purifier.
  • Our Call Center is open for your calls 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
  • Our clinic hours will be extended in select locations for an extra hour and full day Saturdays, making us more available for appointments.
