Meet Our Orthodontist
Dr. Brian Reyes
Dr. Reyes grew up in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. In his hometown, he completed his training where Dr. Reyes was a partner in a group orthodontic practice for over 14 years before moving to Chicago to experience the beautiful Windy City life and be closer to his family. What made Dr. Reyes want to be an orthodontist? When Dr. Reyes was a kid, he loved to fix things, even going so far as to take things apart just to see how all of the pieces fit together to make it work. He wasn’t personally great about wearing his orthodontic appliances for the required number of hours. However, Dr. Reyes was fascinated by how the headgear, expanders, and rubber bands applied force to alter the position of his teeth. He even often helped his friends put their headgear and elastics in properly because it made sense to him about what direction the teeth were supposed to move. Dr. Reyes is drawn to the precision and complexity involved in creating beautiful and functional smiles. Learn more about Dr. Brian…

FAQ's
An orthodontic care specialist is a person who uses braces and clear aligners to correct the misaligned teeth and jaws of patients who are in serious pain due to the formation of overbites and underbites.
Orthodontic problems are created when you have the following issues:
- Crowded teeth
- Misaligned teeth
- Overbites
- Underbites
- Crossbites
It is mandatory to take care of your teeth while wearing braces or retainers with proper brushing and flossing for better oral hygiene.
There is no such pain at the time of braces attachment, but once done the first week is very painful for the patient because the pressure is higher on the teeth and jaws for the positioning process and high soreness is faced by the patients.
The process of wearing braces takes 1-3 years, for its better working regarding the teeth positioning in the correct direction.
Orthodontists are usually concerned that the children and teens who wear braces must use a specific braces mouth guard while playing sports or gym, so it is recommended that if you wish to play sports during orthodontic treatment, make sure that the mouth guards are worn properly to avoid any breakage or harm to your braces or mouth caused by any accident or jerk during sports.
If visiting for the first time, stay at ease, it is free of cost with Orthodontic Experts! but once your treatment starts; the appointment sessions are based on the treatment option. With braces, the appointments are higher whereas with clear aligners the appointments are less in number.
