Orthodontic Experts DeKalb Gives Back to the Community at the STEM Fest!

Mount Prospect, Illinois- October 9, 2019- Orthodontic Experts is pleased to announce that they will be giving back to the community to be a part of the 10th Annual STEM Fest at Northern Illinois University. The Dekalb team will be located at the Convocation Center from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM on October 19th. The orthodontic practice is huge in giving back to different communities in the surrounding areas. For instance, Orthodontic Experts has been a sponsor for schools, park districts, and local organizations for many years. The different types of giving back that the practice has done in the past were: braces giveaway (essay contest), mouthguards, and donations to different local businesses in the areas. “We are so excited to be a part of this wonderful event in DeKalb!,” says Paola and Gabriella, orthodontic assistants of Orthodontic Experts DeKalb. Orthodontic Experts definitely knows what the meaning of giving back is all about!

STEM Fest celebrates innovations in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Northern Illinois University STEM departments, student groups, regional corporations, museums, educators, and national labs joining are joining forces to present hundreds of activities that range in complexity to entertain people of all ages. We hope to increase awareness of the critical role science and other STEM fields play in our world every day.

Orthodontic Experts will be sponsoring the STEM Fest 2019! The practice will be giving iTero scanning at the event. Along with having some promotional giveaways for families. Orthodontic Experts goal for attending STEM Fest is to do the following:

• To inspire young people to pursue careers in the STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.)
• Encourage and raise diversity among STEM professionals.
• Increase public awareness of exciting STEM initiatives and the importance of STEM fields in everyday life and for the economy.
