Let’s Welcome Dr. Moon to Orthodontic Experts!
Mount Prospect, Illinois- April 29, 2021- Orthodontic Experts, is proud to announce that the practice has added another orthodontist to the team. It is amazing to see how many Orthodontic Experts are growing and expanding in 2021. As Dr. Yaroslav Yarmolyuk – Founder and President mention, “We are very excited to have Dr. Moon join the team! As our practice keeps growing, we also grow our orthodontists. This is a great time for Dr. Moon to jump in! The entire Orthodontic Experts team is happy to have him.” Dr. Moon will start in May of 2021 at our new Waukegan location.
Dr. Moon is from Seoul, South Korea. At the age of 15, he came to the United States with his sister to stay in a boarding school in Boston, MA. He attended Denison University where he played soccer and lacrosse. To follow his passion for Dentistry, Dr. Moon transferred to Ohio State University where he completed both his Bachelor’s degree and graduate degree. Dr. Moon is fluent in both Korean and English.
What made Dr. Moon want to be an orthodontist?
The part that Dr. Moon loved the most in the long-term relationships with patients. He gets to see his own patients every 4-6 weeks and he enjoys talking to them and getting to know all of them. Another aspect that Dr. Moon loves about orthodontics is changing people’s lives by giving them a beautiful and confident smile that they’re proud of.

What does Dr. Moon like to do during his free time?
He likes to walk his dog, Luna. He also enjoys playing soccer, golf, and snowboarding.
Dr. Moon brings a strong sense of dedication and determination to Orthodontic Experts. He strongly believes in hard work – a work ethic he learned from his parents. Dr. Moon enjoys performing orthodontics very much and looks forward to helping his patients to discover a brighter smile.
