Des Plaines, Illinois – December 16th, 2022 – Orthodontic Experts have always loved expanding, whether it be our staff, clinical locations, or even patients. Therefore, it should come as no surprise that we have added yet another highly educated orthodontist to our roster. She not only has fun every day with her patients, but she also strives to provide exceptional orthodontic treatment in a caring, comfortable and fun environment. Before we can dive into the wonderful life of Dr. Dina Shibeika, though, we would first love to welcome her to the wonderful Orthodontic Experts community and to the Chicago- Kedzie and Orland Park location’s.
Dr. Dina Shibeika was born and raised in Khartoum, Sudan. While there, she learned and became fluent in the languages of Arabic and English. However, at some point, Dr. Dina Shibeika decided that it was time for her to venture overseas and earn a dental degree. Thus, she moved to the US where she attended the University of California at Los Angeles; she then obtained her first degree in Doctor of Dental Surgery.
After living on the west coast in California, though, Dr. Dina Shibeika became drawn to the east coast. Once at the State University of New York at Buffalo, she completed not only her residency, but also her master’s degree and a certificate in orthodontics. Using all of her education, experiences, and overall skillset, she has even found success in publishing her research: evaluations of temporomandibular disorders and how they affect adult’s sleep orders.
However, Dr. Shibeika is more than just an effective and caring orthodontist. She also cares deeply about her family and friends, holding them near to her heart.
